ok i think i have it figured out. im car smart with my lancer but this is the only thing that has got me confuzzled. i let out clutch all the way in first gear and the engine sounds like it "pops" into place. if the car rocks back and forth it sounds like a popping sound but it is not effecting the drive at all. could it be the engine mounts because i have increased the hp/torque of my car.

Hey dose it make the noise when you are just trying to spin your tires or when your just slowly letting out your clutch?

 

its the back engine mount. bolt lose

 

ahh yea when i drop my clutch my motor clunks i might check my mounts im getting new ones soon from rrm so wont matter in the long run
