ECU flash help

I have an auto 02 oz, and soon to be turbocharged, but i need help with the ecu flash software. I downloaded the Mac version and i have the 1.3 tactrix cable. But i have yet to find a ROM thats for autos that will open on a mac, i've found a few but the files wont unzip properly and i have software to unzip it, but it just wont work. If any body has any advice, i'll be glad to here it and it will be greatly appreciated.

And yes im a noob when it comes to tuning, and i've been doing plenty research and im not tuning it myself, but thats what my mechanic is for.

Thanks

did you download senates master def file list? that and as for the mac thing, i tried it but i ended up just buying a small laptop for like 100 bux or so and doing it that way. to tune a caar the computer you need is almost nothing. i got a dell and it has a 700mhz proc with 256 of ram and i do all my dta logging and ecuflashing from that and it is plenty good and yet nice and small. i mite be getting another here soon or i can source one for ya. lmk josh

alright yea i might have to do that.. And i talk to senate, (i have an 02 Auto OZ) and there's no definition for it.. but he said he can try and define it, if i got my ROM, so that'll have to wait till i get a small notebook.. or borrow a buddies. And sorry, what do you mean "source one"?

when i find them theyre like $110 bux or so and like i said they are truly nothing much but it does do live datalogging pretty well for what it is.

700mhz processor
256 ram
80 gig hdd(i put that in i had it laying around)
and its a 12" screen

like i said truly nothing special but it does exactly what i got it for and still fits in yur lap rather nice.

thats if you have enuf space to do it and 80 bux. id rather spend a little more and have something just for this purpose, because i dont like windows running on a mac.

someone quoted me this once saying "you know what microsofts problem is? its that they dont realize how much they suck!"

I already have a tactrix cable.. but your JRR.. It would be nice to have a PC just for the car, and my macbook for work and school work.. And im researching dual booting on macs, so i might get an external hard drive to store windows.. But i do like the idea of having a separate laptop just for the car. But i need more memory anyways so im not sure which route to go with yet.. but ill get back to you in a week or so.. thanks
