Let me first say, hello! I just joined the community. Ive always looked here for information but never registered until now. I bought a 2003 lancer ES about 5 months ago and Ive been in love with it ever since. Mind you its only an ES and before getting the car I honestly didnt know a single thing about cars. To me this cars my baby and handles as good as new. But Im interested in tuning it and thats why I came here. Ive been learning more and more about engines and such ever since I got my car and its taught me alot.

As with almost everyone, moneys tight. I recently lost my job and I'm now working a dollar less pay with less hours. I had a few ideas for the car before my recent situation but I want your advice mechanically and cosmetically so that I can plan for the future. Even if I only do a few things here or there, I can be patient for the final result.

Before I show you the car Ill tell you a little about it. Its got 100k miles on it. It came with the front and back tinst. I put in a New belt, new alternator, and just recently got a tune up. It runs like a dream but obviously not that fast. Before the tune up it went 0-60 in around 10 seconds which isnt that bad for stock. It also has steelies which is a real bother. I dont have the money to spend 900 bucks on tires and rims all in one payment. I do have a new short ram intake ill be installing in a few days. And I was hoping to havemy cousin put in a new performance header. Id get a magnaflow muffler by the end of august. But what do you suggest I do next? Thanks so much for your support!
