Ingen CAI 2.0 to work in the 2.4
i know ive posted about this somewhere on here.
anyway dont use it, the 4b11 and 4b12 injen intakes vary significantly, although they look they same they are not.
Return or sell the 2.0 (4b11) intake and get the proper intake, also to avoid any issues with water consider the Takeda sri, it has yielded great gains and stacks up pretty well if not better than the injen cai.

Lancer0220 hit it on the head
The only thing I wanted to add was to explain why. INJEN intakes employs a trick to allow un-metered air to by pass the Mass Air Flow Sensor. As a result, your car's O2 sensor will detect this and send instructions to the ecu to make minor corrections to the fuel trim. The end result is a more rich mixture. This keeps temperatures down and safe while maintaining good HP / TQ gains.
The problem you face is using the wrong intake will upset both the correct amount of air entering the engine and how much unmetered air is by passing the MAF. While it will not kill your car. You will likely trigger lean codes, and for the long run, that is bad.
