I have the aultec pulley and short ram intake, also CVT if it matters.

 

I had one on my 2.0L when i had my lancer. i didn't really notice a difference when when i had it plugged in. Had the car dynoed and iirc it made all of a 1 or 2 whp difference. well within margin of error and no where near the advertised 8hp gain. Your 2.4L may fare better but you can get better gains with a real tune. A tune would be probably cheaper too.
