Drop-ins / bolt-ons for GTS?

I know all the interior/exterior parts that can bolt on from the Evo, but is there anything internal that can be put into the GTS for more power?
I'm not looking to turn in into a powerhouse, just a bit better than what it is.

I know the intake will work, but at a loss of low-end.

I've heard the cams/springs/lifters can be dropped in... (Is this true?)

If you want to make power, check out Torqamp... You'll need to find a tuner and enough fuel, but it's going to be your easy install bang for your buck option.

Yyeaahhh, kinda wanting to stay N/A & inside safe zone. As much fun as TorqueAmp would be, and I'm familiar with their charger, I'm looking to stay daily & safe. I bought the GTS on purpose, as N/A is always a long-run, safer bet + less maintenance.

Just wanting to get a bit more from it... Not looking to be racecar status, just a bit more fun to drive... Ya know?

Hi W-h3x, you say this is a GTS and it is CVT....does it also have an engine? Perhaps a 4B12 or maybe a 4B11? Being a CVT, you are limited to 6300rpm and the tranny will limit torque so it is not worth going overboard. A completely stock 4B12 engine can be tuned to produce more power than the CVT can handle without adding a single aftermarket part. If it is 4B11, that is a completely different ballgame as these are cam crippled.

W-h3x, I take it you have a 4B11 then? No need to be embarrassed by it, just come out of the closet and say it. You were asking about drop ins, then for a 4B11, drop in a 4B12 intake cam with the 4B12 intake sprocket. You may also want a 4B12 exhaust manifold (including the engine bracing bracket) as a nice upgrade over the 4B11 clamshell P.O.S. Then you have a much nicer 4B11 (after a major ROM retune that is). Beyond that, you are into performance mods that are not much use in a CVT (no point in creating an engine that has power all the way up to 7500rpm when the CVT will cripple it to 6300rpm)
