Got my typhoon intake today!

I finally got my K&N typhoon intake today.. I'll make sure to take pics of the install and post them on here.. Does anyone have any feedback on the typhoon? I noticed most people sport the AEM, which is what I should be using, but for some reason the typhoon just looked sexy to me so i bought it! I'll let you guys know how it goes!

The Typhoon is better performance. Usually a cold air is better but in regards to the Lancer the Typhoon seems to be better. I used to have the AEM but now am going with K&N.

Congrad's on the purchase.

K&N shafted me on a washer, hoseclamp and a sticker! those truckers! oh well.. not like I don't have the stuff laying around and my cousin runs a vinyl shop! I'll let you guys know how it goes!

In turn, I HATE it when people post crap like this in the engine tech section. There is absolutely nothing technical about this and many other "I got/want a new intake" threads. Read the rules NEWBS before you start posting.

i clicked on it to SEE the intake you labeled. the threads name doesnt say "read about how excited i am to get my new intake" did it? as for the mods moving it, make their life easier would ya? your not paying them a dime. like i said i just dont like when people do that, your not the first, nor the last. maybe you can just learn something.

impatient is one thing.. but a dick? thats another.. there are some people on here that definitely need to learn to grow up.. If the mods minded, then they would be in here griping, but they aren't.. They can handle themselves.. Just get off it man. I don' t wanna cause any problems, but why you gotta bash people man? the last guy that posted on this thread was actually nice in putting the point across.. maybe you can learn something..

word, I think if he is happy about it and wants to post it, then let him. Why shouldnt it be in here? its about the intake which is in the engine bay. Like he said if the mods have a prob, they would have done something. I dont see anything wrong accept for the fact some off you acted like complete a$$ hats.
