Got my intak on was hell getting the air flow sensor off.
Is it to close to the vavle cover?

just like every other intake on ebay. just search "lancer intake"

i think it's too close to the exhaust manifold. could you try and put the filter at the corner of the battery and fuse box?

my injen intake is position how rhyzin has it on the pic...
w/ a heatshield..

* yours is too close to the manifold and no shield...
**** gets hot...

what kind of intake is that...looks like the bomZ intake on ebay...

That intake really needs to be positioned AWAY from the exhaust manifold. If that cap isn't metal and the mesh over the filter element isn't you could have some issues.

yeah when i get the time i'm gonna try to relocate my short ram to where the battery is right now and find a new home for battery

You e-bay guys, is the filter element a name brand (doubt it)? What materials are the components made of? I wanna say high heat plastic but some parts look metal.

thats the same Intake I got. I didnt get it off ebay though, got i through a local shop. I never really asked what brand the filter was, it is washable I know that for a fact. I agree though, its sounds pretty good by itself
I forgot, The ends of the filter housing and the mesh around the filter element is some kind of metal

the filter i got from e-bay may not be name brand but its just as good as name brand. the others i see us the same intake parts with out the air box and you pay atlest 100 for em

all I have to say is you get what you pay for, If your looking for sound it's a good buy for the money but if your looking for preformance, On my judge I would save up more money and go for Injen or AEM.
