Does anyone know a website where to get a used engine for 2002 OZ manual trans?
Or maybe someone knows how much would it cost to get it rebuilt?
I'm planning on going with a turbo 9psi MAX but I have 60k miles on my ride and I'm not sure if it's OK to force induction in my baby.

 

Would forged pistons keep me safe???

 

I don't see why putting a turbo on your car now would be any different than doing it 30k miles ago... if your NA you've barely put any wear on that motor... trust me. Turbo what you got. It will be fine. If you want to put pistons in your basically starting with a fresh motor. Then turbo will be fine and yes the forged pistons hold up better but if you have a properly tuned kit your not going to hurt stock ones either. I've seen guys run 12psi(not recommended) on the stage 2 rrm kit. They just threw some race gas in and hit the track. This shows you how good the stock pistons are if tuned correctly. 9psi is no problem for them as long as things are tuned.
