I have that same exhaust from the same place you got yours from. Very good exhaust, very good sound. If you are installing it yourself get some liquid wrench and be prepared to have to yank to get those bolts holding the stock pipe on. Suggestion, put three applications of liquid wrench on the bolts the night before you try to take the stock system off to help losen the bolts. Get an extended wrench and be patient... if it doesn't come off at first apply more liquid wrench and give it thirty minutes to set. If it still doesn't come off you might want to think about lifting weights or getting a rubber mallet to tap the wrench till it is loose.

shingen, did it burn your bumper, did you need to cut it, and were their any fitment issues. im prolly not going to install it myself. i want mistu to do it prolly just to save hassel and all...unless you guys think its easy, and its a weld-free application.......i was quite the grease monkey back in my HS days...but since graduating i even pay for my oil changes........lol

The tip is double walled....so it wont burn the bumper. I have the same system....you should like it!Nice and quiet at idle...

have it. love it. quick note for your install... make sure the resonator pipe has the slight bend facing up, hugging closer to the car. this will insure that the tip will fit perfectly in the bumper. also, be ready to have a long wrench, or piece of pipe to increase the torque, cuz those bolts are on there REALLY tight.

lastly, expect it to steal a bit from your bottom end, but you'll really feel a nice little kick at around 3500RPM.

I really am thinking about "trying" to get this exhaust system, but I still have to try and sell my EVO VII kit for my Lancer so I can buy a car sear and stroller for my kid that is on the way! Anyway, does anyone have a how-to on this install with pics? I prolly won't have the money to pay to have it done if I can end up getting it! Also, anyone have a sound clip of this catback, I can't find where I found the clips before. Thanks and Happy holidays!!!!

sandpaper? dude....u shouldnt need that. steel wool at a worst, but a rag anda good degreaser should take ANYTHING off of that tip.

bens lancer.....dont buy this thing from anywhere else. This is the cheapest catback for our cars i have found yet. most of them run about 495$ and up. This is a great deal (the link in post 1) and it is shipped free.

let us know if anyone got this cheaper than 330$

nice exhaust. has a good tone and loudness. You can still hear your music even when hitting rpms over 3000-3500. breaks in nice over the first two weeks or so.. enjoy it
