valve cover

i was just wondering if the valve cover breather filters are worth getting, do they keep hot air out of the intake or are they useless.

I have one but I think it will be better to get an oil catch can or something to keep the engine components clean.

well some say they serve no purpose. but it keeps oil building up in your throttle body and intake manifold. but then it gets your engine bay to get dirty faster. make sure you plug the hole in the intake so you wont run lean.
