Help w/ engine codes
well, i installed my PB earlier on this week, and i drove around to test it out and figured might as well get rid of my cel while i'm at it. i've had the cel on constantly since i got my kamikaze header/dp. i do have a mil eliminator, installed correctly, but it just doesn't work......so the cel remains.
anywho, because the PB is still learning (i driven it almost for a week), and it is kinda chilly out, i got a lot of stuttering at a stop light. engine never died, but it would start shaking, idle was about 600rpm
so i pulled and cleared the codes: first was the one i usually get PO139; O2 sensor circuit slow, bank 1 sensor 2. I assume this is caused by the header, but is it my sensor in the dp or the sensor before the cat under the car?
second code troubled me, it was PO300 Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected. i think the reason it might have said this is because the car is running alot leaner thanks to the PB and thats the cause of the stuttering. but i want to be sure i'm not dealing with a larger problem here. would a spark plug change help? its been about 10,000 miles on ngk iridiums
overall car runs great and smooth, i just want to catch these problems before something bad happens, ya know, like my car stalls next to a nuclear waste facility, and i accidentally light a cigarette blowing up my car, which starts a nuclear chain reaction that causes the largest explosion and toxic waste leak on earth, making the earth devoid of life for a halflife of 5k years

lol
also, if I remember correctly, someone else had this problem as well w/ the header, I don't know, but it is possible that the thread may be of help (it's probably at least 8 months old, probably older).
Good luck!

those are intriguing questions you propose..........
/runs away to look up what long term fuel trim means
actually, i am getting an auterra pda dyno sometime soon (should be in the mail hopefully). that would be able to tell me, right?
i think i have a few problems, 1) stupid header causing stupid cel multiplied by the stupid non working MIL eliminator 2) stupid cold kansas weather 3) i'm stupid
i'm thinking, onces its warmer, i'll reset the ecu, learn the piggyback again, and go from there.
oh, btw, i picked up some denso iridiums (had ngk iridiums before) and accel does feel smoother, but the same basic problem persists
