i asw this replacement coils through summit racing and it says it will work on our lancers is this true?

if it was summit racing, then chances are that it was not for the mitsu lancer, but instead from teh old dodge lancer

won't work, because 2 of the coilpacks have the sparkplug direclty underneath and have a rubber connector from the base of the coil down to the plug

 

Doubt it. We have DIS (distributorless ignition system), and that looks like a coil that goes with a distributor.

But the only real way to find the answer is to call 1-800-230-3030 and ask Summit, instead of asking a bunch of EvoM folks who don't know.
