Check out this entire thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ght=rrm+header
It talks about RRM coming out with a downpipe, but not rushing it. Also talks about the power from their header compared with kamikaze.

With the RPW headers, remember our systems run the longest runner lengths compared to anyone else and as such, garauntee will produce more torque at lower rpm's than any other 4-1 system. Check the following link for an idea what they look like. Although the picture is off a Galant, the design is exactly the same.

Our systems come comlpete with the dump pipe as you call them and bolts up to the standard cat converter with no problems at all. We aer running 1 7/8" primary diameter headers which are between 32 - 36" long (Most other headers are only around 25" long). Yuo can see on our photo's that the headers do not merge until past the sump pan which is why we create a torque effect.

Obviously those headers have been ceramic coated HPC.

I am itnerested in peoples thoughts on this (And criticism)

Well I just got in from Drag racing and I am quite pleased with my RPW race headers. There is alot of low end torque and I still can't get the tires to stick off the line. Not to go OT so I am going to post my other thoughts in Drag Racing.

Seriously depends on your later mods. If you are going with RRM header then the turbo kit connects directly. Don't know about RPW's compatibility w/turbo. Same for the others. If you are going turbo you will save w/RRM on this. Just get the test pipe and exhaust as well. Then your on a straight system. The few HP gained with downpipe is minimal when thinking cost of buying different header if you go turbo or having custom job done to fit turbo.

That would be RRM's header with RRM's turbo kit just to clarify.

Hey I'll tell you what if you buy the RRM header and don’t really like it I'll trade you it for my Kamikazi header and down pipe. I'm not downing Kamikazi I love the header and down pipe and got grate results, it's just that I'm probably going to get the RRM turbo by the summer (I hope)

RMR wants like $700.00 for their headers. I will stick with RRM when I buy mine.

I'm curious where you got that quote from because, by all accounts I've heared, it's in the $500 range.

Probably the evil RMR middleman: the dealer. Buying direct saves everyone headaches.

Mitsubishi dealer in Lewisville Texas. They are the only ones close to me that handle RMR parts. I would rather deal with RRM and wait for the delivery of parts instead of getting my lips ripped off.
