keeping tabs on oil level
Well, it turns out that 5+ hours of high RPM racing (autocross school) and a road trip (about 750 miles round trip) plus daily driving had lowered my oil level by about a quart
I'm thinking it was mostly the AX school that did it. Here's my ??? :
What gauge can I use to keep track of my oil level? I'm thinking about an oil pressure gague, but I don't know how useful it would be.
Should I also investigate oil temp gauge? Is the coolant temp gauge sufficient to keep an eye on, well, coolant temp (it is a real gauge afterall.....)
thanks folks!!

I disagree.
Water temp. gauge can be useful, but it doesn't help Eboy in this situation at all.
Oil temp. is worthless in this situation. Low oil isn't going to be much hotter. The oil lubricates, not cools.
To me, oil pressure seems like a good bet. He wants to make sure there's enough oil to properly lubricate. And the oil pressure should tell how well it's circulating.
