FSE FPR n/a to FI?
Yeah, noticed that after posting
After all my reading tonight, I think I want to get a FPR! I've looked at the one on visionimports and its about $275, anyone know of someplace else I can look for maybe cheaper?

Hey Green, I've been doing some reading on the forums here and it seems others, who were in similar situations (NA now, plan to be FI later) were trying to decide between an FPR and an FMU like the FSE or AEM FPR and the Vortech FMU. Just curious, if you've discovered which one would be better, or if you were just set on an FPR. Thanks!

well, that really IS the question. afaik, you can't use an fmu on a n/a rig......maybe i'm wrong......but the fpr is a very good mod for n/a and of course almost a "must have" for FI
now, i prefer the fpr for a few reasons, one is ease of installation (just hook it up, instead of wiring 200 vacuum hoses for the fmu). second, the fmu is a way to cheat your injectors into working overtime, which i don't like cause i'm a fair and just employer. and finally, like i said, fpr can be used n/a and then turbo later, don't reckon ffmu can
if i am wrong on any of these, someone please correct me, but i reckon i'm not too far off base

^^ Sounds right, curious what others have to say as well like Hobie Kopek. Also, doing some more research, the AEM FPR seems a lot cheaper than the FSE - found it for $159.45 shipped from www.cartunerz.com. Have you been able to find any other FPRs for a good price?
