Cold Air Intake MT/AUTO

Is it ture that a cold air intake for MT wont work on AUTO and AUTO intakes wont work on MT. I have heard different answers from people. Any advice on what intake to get would also be great, i dont care if it looks cool i want it to work

But to answer, no they don't work. The tranny on the auto is too large for a MT intake to fit. Get a SRI (short ram intake) if you have an auto.

for the time it takes, stick with an sri (if you have an auto). people HAVE put cai's on autos but it took some customizing or taking out some stuff. to save you from all that trouble, just stick with an sri.. i dont think its worth that extra work to have an extra 1-2hp was it? well w/e, its not that much of a difference anyways
