Talking Quad Throttlebody 97+ Lancer Mirage 4G93 4G94

I've heard that this TB would work with our block; plus, this auction agrees to the fact. Just thought some lucky person here might want to be the proud owner of the only ITB'd Lancer. Only if I had the time and $$$. (Ebay auction)

It looks weird .... kind of beat up ..... or photo chopped. The price is pretty good but then still you need to get some serious fuel mods and EMS not mentioning the change in drivibility. Overall ..... awesome deal, I wouldn't do it :P

Thanks for plugging my auction.

If they look beat up it's 'cos they were used for maybe a year or so, and have changed hands twice since that intial install. The first user did have them running but I think he had minor tuning issues and problems with his Haltech frying coils. Unfortunately, he quit coming around the Mirage board so there isn't a whole lot of info about his trials and tribulations. But, there are friends of his on this board and the Mirage board so I could probably find out more if needed.

The next owner sold them to me as a package deal when I bought his car. They were meant for his Mirage coupe, but it was totalled when he was rearended. Then he had a Mirage sedan but he bailed on it in order to move up to a turbo G20.

If I wasn't set on a 2.4 swap, I'd probably have these mounted already. But, I really wanna see someone utilize them, and I definitely want a sound clip of the induction sound.

^RPW is already selling twins for lancers as far as I know. Is Dave still working on his twin setup that would reuse the MAF sensor?

yea he has the intake manifold and the duals already. I was following a thread a little while back about them, and I know for sure they have the 65mm throttle body available w/ im.

What Dave recommended for a daily driver is twin 55mm throttle body kit. Unfortunately you still need to buy EMS since MAF will be useless.

the pictures in the other thread... were for a six cylinder... when that thread was posted the ones for the lancer were not finished yet...

and as for the duals... dave is not doing them how he did his past set-ups (tb on two sides of the IM)... a maf will work with the new dual setup (2 tb on the opening of the IM).

I thought dave said the 65 mm was what he recommended for a daily driver, 55 seems small.

Since no one jumped on it, it's been relisted at a significantly reduced price.
