Too bad running the AC creates more of a parasitic loss than it provides in cooling gains.

I had a CAI and recently converted it to just a SRI. Reason being: Somehow or another some dumbass kid got an Injen or something on his Integra and was being a ****tard and drove through a puddle and sucked up the water and vanquished his engine. Funniest thing I have ever witnessed. Almost felt sorry but that was retarded. Having an air filter in your tire well is scary. The throttle response feels quicker on my SRI and doubt I am really getting a noticeable difference in performance. But I do think the SRI sucks on very humid days but I didn't have my CAI on with such humidity. It seems a lot louder but that could be because it is closer to me and is right under my hood so the sound just hits it and travels through everything. I think it sounds good. Deep and doesn't sound like a g0ddamn airplane.

ahhhh you mean weed-wackers, lawn mowers...flat out ricers.... hell i can't really talk anymore since my new APEX'I muffler sounds like crap! it's moving along the lines of a civic now ...then again my trunk lid still says lancer and Civic CX so i'm not the slightest bit worried.

look at rrm site at how the ic piping is for their auto turbo kit, i guess you could fabricate one yourself. youre probably best off using sri because there wont be a huge difference in gains

That's what I did with my CAI. Except mine runs behind the battery with the stock scoop on the front pouring fresh air on it. And I left the CAI pipe where it was to get more fresh air up to it.

Yeah I haven't heard them but people have said the APEX'I exhausts are loud and raspy.

the GT spec sounds amazing if you have the full exhaust (header, dp, cat, cat-back) and even better once you toss a CAI and a IM in there but the N-1 was just a bad choice for me...i'm pleased with the look but by no means am i happy with the sound.

I saw this and wanted to just throw in that dry ice is solid CO2, not Oxygen. So im not quite sure what it would do to your engine but it would not be good. They apparently have systems to add to your intake that run CO2 through a metal coil which i suppose might cool your intake a bit. Somthing like this Cryo Co2 cooler
