Talking IT'S COMEING VERY SOON 2002 lancer injen intake

i email injen and ask them if they had something comeing out for the lancer and they said this.

It will be listed on the web next week. Should be ready in Feb and price will also be on the web.

lanceroz84 where did you order your intake from everywhere I call there is anywhere from a week to 8 weeks delay on them. I would like to order an intake ASAP can you help please?

I know racesearch.com has them for certain in red (agh!) and polished.

Sorry bout the double post but I realized the second link didn't work. At any rate...at least you know where you can get it now. You can't search for the lancer because their page has no drop down for '02 models but you can find the two intakes by sifting through all the Injen intakes they stock if not some other way.

:soapbox: they do with some custome bending towards the bottom I have a riend of mine who has one but Midas had to custom bend it at the bottom bellow the battery to fit it properly

Well of course there were some "adjustments" necessary to fit an automatic. The layout of the engine will be the same, but the transmission mechanisms would be different, hence the tweaking of the pipe. Be careful, bending the pipe in certain ways may hamper any HP gains since it's bent in a relatively precise fashion to improve and speed up air flow.

Has anyone ever dynoed their car? I wanted to compare the Injen to the RMR...anyone know HP differences? or atleast one HP figure on anything?

advertise hp

in the box on a paper they say 9to 14 hp.but we all know that the advertised hp is not ture.i am guessing 6 to 9hp being the max .

6 to 9 might be high too
look how many cars scc dynos and gets only like 3hp from the intakes
