Power Steering
I was putting on sleeving kits for my car. I took off the power steering rubber tubing and it leaked out lot of fluid.
I hooked it back on and finished my own business. Then i started up the car, the engine was wobbling badly. I drove it around the block and opened the hood. I realized one of the plugs that connected to the sparkplug wires was unplugged. So I know 3 cylinders were working one wasnt. I hooked it back on. Engine sounds better (but is it?? will it destroy my engine even if i just drove around the block very slowly with 3 cylinders and hooked it back on and now 4 are working ok?)
then my service engine soon light came on. My steering was very squeaky, i mean frickn hell squeaky. Is SES light on because power steering fluid is low? or is it because of my motor? the fluid is below the minimum line.
also one more question, what kind of power steering fluid should i use? and is it ok if its poured in with the remaining fluid?

just add some power steering fluid and it will eventually go away if you let it idle. it's okay to add fluid. dunno if the SES will go away on it's own so you'll probably have to reset it, but i don't think it'll come back on if you got the fluid level back up.
