The header doesn't modify any part of your cat-back... so you're free to do what ever you feel like as far as the cat is concerned. If you're wondering about the pros and cons about going with a high flow cat, then the searchy thing should shell out all the answers you need.

actualy I was referring to his search button graphic. No need to take it personal Newbs are gonna be newbs. If we stop posting in their threads when they ask a question that's been answered a million times, they'll have to search or they'll just give up and we won't see them anymore (pros and cons to that as well).

header on the lancer will run just fine by itself... should provide nice gains for you.

Later on you can put in a high flow cat in order to replace the second cat in the car or you can do a test pipe(cat delete pipe) and just be free flowing to the muffler.

The search on these topics will yield a lot more info but for now this is the quick end to it.

Search for: high flow cat, RRM header, Test Pipe and any other variations of that you can think of and the posts will come up for you.

I prefer to teach and give at the same time... as maybe he knows about the search but just doesn't fully know how to use it. In this way he learns enough to satisfy his questions for now... and enough to satisfy his other questions later via the search.

I'm too nice... NOT!

You're really just trying to sell another header for your pals, but that's cool. Even the most rudimentary search of RRM and HEADER would have given tons of info. Some folks just don't want to do anything for themselves. I bet he'll be posting frantically about how to get that left nut off, too

It's not to say that I've never asked a question, and some have turned out to have had threads about the topic. But really, it's not that difficult to get answers to a lot of questions, especially with a focused, organized repository such as this one.

You guys are harsh with the search thing. Understand it but....... At least Boe answered. Love the new approach to forum newbs. Guess we should write a guide to NEWBNESS so that they just get a link and they find out what they want.
