People like me are the reason the Lancer community know for a fact that WRX Injectors can be used in the Lancer as a cheap, high flowing alternative, that Mirage clutch discs and pressure plates fit on the 4g94, and that the AEM EMS is a viable standlone option for the Lancer tuner going above and beyond the parameters offered by piggyback units. People like me are also tired of the same threads being repeated ad nauseum simply because the thread originators did not have the presence of mind, patience or decency to see if the issue had been commented upon before. Now I don't care if you like me or my advice, but it would be wise not to dismiss it.
The only thing that separates you from the other people is that you already have the parts. That's wonderful and all, but you're still going to face the same problems, and like I said before, quite frankly I think you'd be better off parting the Evo and getting another. If you already have the Lancer, use it as a trade-in and pay off a large portion of the balance with the money from selling the Evo parts. It's not rocket science, it's smart spending.
If you want the sleeper look on an AWD 4g63 Lancer, you're better off investigating how to cosmetically alter an Evo rather than rebuilding an OZ. You'll lose the superior suspension, relative reliability (I'd hesitate to call the Evo reliable based on the volume of complaints, but it would certainly be more reliable than the Frankenstein Lancer), and chassis rigidity that you would have with an Evo. In short you'll lose a lot more than you'll gain. If you think I'm harsh, wait until you do the swap and the harsh reality of what you did versus what you could have done sets in. Better I **** in your cornflakes before you drop the cash than let you **** in your own by doing this swap.
If you're out to prove something, by all means continue. If you don't want to **** your time and money away, stop and think for a minute.

I think he's doing it just for the challenge. You know, like those guys at monster garage. I say if you have the will, time and money then go for it. Otherwise, it's just a waste of will, time and money...
For a show car, it'd be perfect, but if its being done to make a track car.....sorry but its a waste. Our car (the lancer) is not made to have that kind of power/drivetrain set up, the chassis isn't meant for it, nor is the suspension. If you want to have a car that you have flat bed towed to show with a fancy paint job, 8 TVs and a nice (but useless) engine, great, I'm sure the judges will just love you, but if you want something fast, I'm sorry to say it, but you're better off with a civic (or integra) type R.
First thing he should do is to get under his car and get under an EVO, then and only then he will see it's a waste of time. Even if he could do it, without the apropiate mods in the suspencion he could get killed. I have'nt been under an OZ but i compared an EVO with my RA and there is no way. And lets remember the 1 gen eclipse, there was no way to fit the AWD sistem in an FWD car unless you cut half the body...
Hands down no way

**** at this point id take the parts, sell em get an Evo VII and use the lancers body on it. Same Height/Weight/Wheel base so itll look the same but the VII is AWD and has more guts, theres your sleeper . . . unless you just love really big really hard jobs, in which case sh*t go for it and take some pictures man id love to see how one would even do that.

try conducting a search based on titles only to narrow the results. This way you wont get hit with every thread containing the word "awd"

Also, there is other Lancer who did a 4g63T swap from 89' VR4 Galant.
