Shell Gas best for pig?
I love that stuff. I don't have a piggy but I've noticed a difference the few times i've gotten a chance to put it in near empty. Maybe it is all in my head. And yes many claim throwing premium in a regular car yields nothing so i dunno. makes me feel better though when i've got the money and i feel silly enough to do it
I saw a post with a dyno test, 76 vs Chevron, and 76 dyno 10 HP more. 76, Shell & Chevron are the only gas I would put in my cars. On a side note, my buddy has a 99 A4 S/C and filled up with some V-power Shell when we were on a road trip and his car was pingin like hell, it dosen't do that when he uses Cheveron or 76.
Food for thought... With the piggy I did notice a slight difference between gas station but what struck me most is... In my case, the piggy doesn't like when I mix gas. Let say I have 1/4 left of Sunoco and I add 1/4 of Shell or whatever else it doesn't run as good as if I had put in 1/4 of Sunoco instead of Shell.
Now I fill up accordingly. If I want to fill up and still have a 1/4 or more in the tank I'll fill up with the same kind that's already in the tank. If I want to fill up and my gas light is On, I don't really care where I go. My piggy is happy as long as the tank contains only 1 brand.

i heard shell gas is pretty good but i have always used the gas from 7-11 Cito 89 never had any problems. I have used Sheetz gas in my parents car and i felt a big difference in a bad way its like they struggled to accel. You guys heard nething good or bad bout the Cito gas?

i have been using shell too but i only use the medium quality one. I found that when ur gas empty light is on, ur car will have way less power......is it a automatic fix thingie in the ECU? ive been wanting to ask this question for a long time.:-)

on a side note...i've gone 40 miles with my gas light on
Fuel is fuel is fuel is fuel for the most part. You may just be getting bad blends at certain stations and good blends at others. Additives may play a small part as well, but MON ratings should take that into account. Like Rob said, most of the refining within a region is done in the same place.
