a couple of ppl have told me that... including a few high HP domestics... they put in the platinums +4 and they claimed they could fill the loss in power

I have been told by a pro mechanic that bosh +4 should be used only on German cars.

Doubt it. If you get too cold, they have trouble igniting the fuel. 1 step is usually enough.

I had 4+ and then swiched to some regular Bosch. I could feel a loss in power (very minor) the first drive but then it was the same.

I want to get some of the iridium NGKs, but i have a question. Our car calls for .039-.043 gap, is this the same for iridium? Also, a friend told me some cars can increase the gap to run better, but then again he bored his 2L DOHC to a 2.25L, how whould you know to increase the gap?

bored his 2L DOHC to a 2.25L,
=================

that math is wrong if it's a G94.

A G94 can at most gain +.5 mm. Any more = sleeving the cyl walls.

Im bumping this because I ran into this same thing and it confused me to all hell. lol. 02 and 03 lancers on that site give different gaps even though they are the same car. The correct gap is .44 which is what you get when you input 2002 lancer. Figured I would answer this question.

Ok, OEM manual recommend NGK BKR5E-11 .044.. and the NGK website recommend..

*Standard BPR7ES .032

*OE Laser Iridium IGR7A-G ^ # .032

*Iridium IX BPR7EIX .032

..tried going local to shops for NGK's and they say they don't have them instock.

Should i just order them in Standard BPR7ES
