A friend of mine doesn't want to spend the money/time to get a SRI/CAI cause hes stupid, but anyways.. can anyone help find a place where he can order either an accel kool blue drop-in part kp2220 or K&N 33-2105 for cheaper than like 70 bucks. Any help would be appreciated...

you can get a SRI for 70 bucks if you look hard and post something in the wanted ads on here.

 

I'm doing a GODCAI type setup on my car, cept since I got an auto it'll be a GODSRI!

 

but i think with that flexi tube or whatever the hell is used in that procedure, you would be able to work the pipe around the tranny just fine. though i would put some insulating tape on the pipe since youll prolly have to put it closer to the exhaust manifold to make it fit down there.

 

True.. Though instead of exiting down underneath the car like booyah has his, I am rigging something up to one of them crappy cubby holes witht he fake mesh to make it like a ram air system.. cold air forced in through funky rectangle hole and up into intake, cept the air filter will be attached to the MAS and the piping from the ram air part will be attached onto the filter... dunno if it will work right since the rest of the filter will still get heat soaked in the engine bay... need to work it out before doing it still.
