Does anyone have the RMR exhaust??

Does anyone have the RMR exhaust fitted to their lancer yet. I've never heard of them until I saw it mentioned on this board so I really don't know much about them.

I'm curious as to how much of a difference it makes in power and sound? Or should I go for a GReddy exhaust?

too much $$$$$

it suck for $635 only a pipe and muffler no cat back.you can get a magnaflow costum exhast for your lancer for only 400 bucks.and it give you 10 to 15 hp.go to any place that makes costum exhast you will get better price and performance.

Amen to that Claudius.
Show me an exhaust that makes 10 to 15 hp on a normally aspirated 120 HP car and I'll buy every product they make. Do their suspension kits give the Lancer the same handling characteristics as an F1 car?

3" pipe ahahaha on a us lancer ahahaha
you don't like having torque do ya?

2" pipe would be the right size for such a tiny low output engine

but 3" is way way too big for a na 4 banger
add some forced induction then you have the right size

That is very true, for a 4-banger the ideal muffler size is 2.25" like the Mugen Exhaust or even Greddy 2.5" i think it is. Cant remeber the exact size on the Greddy. But you understand why those are the best for 4-bangers. 3" pipes are made for FI cars, not n/a cars.
Also 10hp increase on just adding an exhaust seems too far fetched. Cause I doubt Mitsu would do such a big restriction on their exhaust. But u never know seeing how it is new and US spec. just like the RSX which gains a tremendous amout of hp when they added a cold air intake onto it. The intake and exhaust apparatus for the RSX is so ****ty.

3 inch exhaust piping on a stock U.S. Lancer would be about the most ridiculous thing ever. Why would you want to rob your car of torque. Save the 3 inch for a turbo application, that is the only time it is really necesarry.
