4g93 pulleys for 4g94 lancer
its a no go for me...since our ac has a clutch i think i should get just about the same results with RRMs pulley. The main reason to get an underdrive pulley is to underdrive the AC but since it isn't even connected when it's off i thought it was a waste. Bought one not too long ago, should be here soon!
the crank pulley itself is a different diameter causing the underdrive....it has to do with more than just the AC having a clutch. i'm glad you invested in something that will make you happy though.
Some have done it by just turning the wheel all the way to the right but i think to make it easier you gotta take the wheel and splashguards off. Also loosening of the two connecting belts.
BTW I remember someone saying they went to a shop had them break the nut loose then they retightened it, drove it home, and put the new pulley in... is this safe or what? Cuz i don't have any access to a torwue wrench whatsoever so the only way i can get it done is by taking it to a shop and i don trust the biatches over there...help please!

well that depends if your talking about after your finished and your tighting it to a specific torque u can go to autozone, pepboys, etc and borrow one. other wise if your just loosing it what i would do (since i use to do this in a shop i worked for) use a 3/4 inch ratchet and slide a longer steel poll over the handle of the ratchet. this gives you alot more lever power or whatever .makes it easier on tight nuts. im just not sure if you can get a poll in that small space.
okay so i gotta get a torque wrench that goes up to 134 then..forget the actual number...how about the driving with the nut loostened? i live about a good 10 miles from the shop that i would go to. seems kinda dangerous to me..
yea that seems like not the safest thing to do. you could always bring the pulley a jack and do it your self in the parking lot next to the garage haha that way you can roll it to the garage to torque for you.

Unorthodox just shows a bunch of pulleys to showcase the colors. i'll keep you posted on how it works out. i ordered one from ebay to see if it will work. if it does; i'm ordering an Unorthodox pulley to replace it.mark
