your car auto or manual? they don't make cai for autos if you've got a manual disregaurd this post...... if you have auto you will have to custom make a CAI or go with a SRI if this is the case search and you will find tons of good info

CAI is a waste of time - SRI works just as good and is cheaper.

But if you want to get it, do what I did - what until you come across a used one for cheap.

Ebay cold air intake. Filter from K&N. You've spent 100 dollars, save the rest of your money.

I preffered my SRI to a CAI untill I put on my piggy, then I preffered the CAI.
You can always take the down pipe off the CAI and use it as a SRI aswell.

DIY piggy - AEM SAFC or GReddy Emanage. Takes a lot of work/tuning, but good gains.

Plug-n-play - RRM piggy. Contact Road/Race and buy it. Install and enjoy the POWER!

They just change the A/F curves to make more aggressive mixtures and add power.

Wait, Can't you do both? Since the Piggy doesn't have a screen giving you readings? Or just getting a A/F Ratio Gauge Enuff?

when you say work/tuning you mean soldering it...i though that they just plugged into you regular ecu and then you have to program it

No, when I say work/tuning, I mean just that. You get a box that you solder in. When you receive it, all the values are going to be ZERO. So you need to put in the time to tune the piggy by adding and removing fuel. Or you pay a professional to tune the piggy for you.

Yes, you have to program it. I don't know if you think that's easy or something, but it's very complicated and dangerous to do.

RRM's box is the kind you install and everything is done for you.

---------------

Wallesasuaz - no, you only want one or the another. They both do the same thing, but in different ways.
