My CEL never came on.... it shouldn't. There isn't a sensor to tell you it's a good idea to replace your plugs...
Also comatose721 I don't mean to offend you cause everyone says you know your way around Lancers pretty good.... However, if you look at the sticker on the hood that basically talks about the cat and emissions certification bull crap, it states that the spark plug gap should be set to 0.039-0.043, not 0.044.

before i even read your post.. i saw "misfiring" .... immediately i thought... this guy just needs plugs... you should also look into getting some magnecore wires if your dont already have some

i change them about every 3-4 oil changes.. call it overtime... but it gives me peace of mind to know that theres a fresh spark fest goin on under the hood lol
