i was wondering is anybody running airbypass vavles on there cold intakes or some kind of device to stop water from being sucked in . during the rain season where i live my car lags and wants to stall due to the water

You're not thinking of this right.
The air bypass valve on the AEM CAI is to prevent water from being physically sucked into your motor and hydrolocking it.
Your car does not lag and stall due to water. If water got into your engine, it would stop working. Your filter might be getting wet/dirty and restricting airflow. That might be it. But you are not getting water into your motor, I promise. You'd know...

The aem filter will be my next. Yeah the bypass thing is when your filter goes underwarter and the engine starts taking in the air from the bypassvalve because of the weight of the water.
