I'm sure the RPW cam will work on 04s as well.

4G94 is 4G94, right? IIRC the main difference is the 04+ doesn't have the returnable fuel lines and the first cat is welded into the start of the DP (or something like that), so everything else for 02-03 should also work for you guys- certainly internals, underdrive pulleys, etc.

I see sdhes is on the wrong side- maybe we can sway him to see the light?

All of our RA lancer products fit the 04+ model. The only thing that does not go across is the fuel pressure regulator kit, but everything else turbo kits, headers etc all fit up to the 04+ model.

With the 04 models, they are like our australian models where the cat is fitted up permanent to the flex pipe.

Those vehicles woudl respond to our whole bolt on kit with cat converter which woudl fit up to the standard flange position after the factory cat converter.

Back to my previous post, other than R&D and proven performance, I want a more specific comparision.

1. What is the cams duration?
2. What is the lift of the two cams?
3. It might be a bit early, but I would like to see dyno numbers for a car running your basic I/H/E setup and using RPW's cam and the same with the RRM cam.

RPW camshaft specs have always been avaialble on our website in the FAQ/Techinical data section. Check that out for our specs. You will see there is a difference between our auto and manuel camshafts. ALso see the difference between a mirage and 4G94 camshaft

I can only post from the perspective of someone who has watched both companies over my 4 years here and has dealt with both companies. I don't want to jump your ish, but you're really asking a lot.
1&2) http://www.rpw.com.au/shop/index.php...=111&Itemid=25

# 3) that's asking a lot. RRM doesn't post dyno numbers so you're asking RPW to buy a competitors cam and dyno it- which they won't do because it's classless and only invites a war. Or you're asking one person to buy two cams and dyno both. That's a huge investment for any person or any company. RRM went and made ONE cam that's supposed to make power for both NA and FI Lancers whether auto or MT.

This means that any generic cam that is being marketed for both manuel and auto models, is a very small profile to enable the auto's to idle properly. The RPW Stage 1 Manuel model camshaft is definitly larger and won't run in an Auto, but has been proven many times to produce maximun power for them.

Also we would definitly like to state, due to the larger profiles that RPW utilises for our stage 1 camsahfts etc, they ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH FORCED INDUCTION. Use of any of our naturally aspirated camshafts would not be beneficial with any forced induction. If you want a turbo camshaft, get a proper one which has the right duration / lift / valve overlap.

Oh sure, they'll get someone right on that The gain is going to depend on your setup and how you're tuned. Dyno numbers from one car to another don't mean bupkis.

Dang, I could have just quoted myself again
