If "suicidal" is considered fun, yeah. But at least I take the time to do my volunteer modding while I'm wishing I was home in bed.

In any case, I still have no idea what I said that was amusing...

The only thing is the turbo is not coming for at least a year if not more. So why wait on the smaller power mods when in that year or more they would help?

If you plan on going turbo with in a year don't even worry about intakes , headers, and exhaust.

I say work on the suspension and lighting the car.

It's not within a year, it's in at least a year, so if I make a lot of money next summer and can do it, then yeah. if not, more saving.

Well, it's personal choice. In my mind, you're trying to have a new set of bling rims . . . before you have the car (rough analogy). I'd rather have the turbo (which in my mind makes the car 100% better) and then start adding the other little stuff.

Look at it this way - if I said I really wanted to get a nice bedroom set and a dinner table, but I didn't own a house yet, wouldn't you look at me funny?

Well if I got simply a turbo with no other mods, wouldn't that be like having a $100k car with no rims and tires?

No, it'd be like having a turbo lancer. A header would be useless, you'd replace it when you got the turbo. If you want to put on worthwhile mods, do intake manifold, throttle body, fuel rail and exhaust.

NO. It'd be like having a $100k car with the stock rims and tires.

I'd rather have a stock Ferrari than a couple of Ferrari mods sitting around.

Say I am not going to turbo it, but don't wanna spend a ton total (over time) on it, what should I do? Intake mani? Header? throttle body? fuel rail?
