Do SRI/CAI improve gas mileage?

I was reading around and I noticed people say that their CAI/SRI improved their gas mileage. I even read on a different forum, someone's gas mileage improved by 100km a tank.

Is this possible with a CAI/SRI?
How much of an improvement can I expect by installing an SRI?

I might have only gained about 3 - 4 mpg with mine. But it did make a difference, or so I think.

yeh mine made a little difference, but you will find you will drive the car harder and use more gas, just because it sounds so SWEET!!!!! thats what my problem is.

I just started sucking more gas...lol it does sound sweet. The best way to save gas is not to drive hard but moderately.

Yeah, a little. But not much.

Not enough to worry about it.

Funnily enough my exhaust actually resulted in the biggest increase in gas mileage. I went from getting 400-460 km to a tank before to 500-600+ km to a tank now.
