I used a hole saw to cut a 4" hole in my cam gear cover so I can access the allen bolts without taking the whole dang thing off. The tool I made had a tooth that was too big and that's why the gear is a little chewed on those two spokes.

 

how long you been running that? no problems? lighter than stock i assume?

 

Over a year. None. It's lighter, but I don't remember by how much (I never weighed either of them).
