Someone has told me about 98-2001 mirage cam gears can fit with our cars....is there any that are made specifically for the lancer?

 

Yes! Fidanza, RPW, etc...

 

and yes, those cam gears will fit. that year mirage uses the same head as the lancer.

 

97-02 mirage fits. make sure its 1.8l though

 

Are the Fidanza cam gears as good as the RPW ones? Just wondering cause the Fidanza gears are like half the price. Does anyone have any?

 

where do you see them for cheaper? because on the rpw site, the rpw ones are cheaper.

no way! theyre only $165 AUD which is only $128. and the RPW ones are only $125 AUD which is $97.

i have no idea? the only thing ive ever bought from them was a set of phenolic spacers. i would imagine a cam gear isnt too much bigger shipping wise than the spacers. i dont remember how much shipping was but i know it wasnt that much.

 

Yeah, the Mirage ones. When it's the same exact part, it's hard to say it's not "for the Lancer". Just get it and be happy.
