greddy evo2 catback exhaust

im thinking of getting this catback for my '02 oz rally. im looking for a nice deep-tone, discreet sound out of my boosted lancer. is this exhaust quiet? im currently running custom exhaust...2 1/4" piping and 3" outlet. for those who already have this, please advise. also the specs page say there's "bumper modification" required. i dont have a stock bumper, do i still have to cut it?

here's my bumper...anyone think i have to cut it?

there shouldnt be any issues as long as you get the one for lancers.... I got a magnaflow and there was no modifications. if must not be to different. From clips ive heard they sound pretty good.

how would a heat shield rattle? hes talking one that goes on the opening of the exhaust to protect the bumper from getting burnt.

the heat shield under the car...is that what we're both talkin about? mitsu's DO have them right? im pretty sure every car does. that's the only thing i know of that rattles under there. also one of the exhaust hooks was hitting my rear sway bar so i unhooked one of them. that custom exhaust is weird that's why im changing it. it has leaks that i patched up w/ jb weld.

greddy 2... have it and it is a great exhaust. it is pretty quiet compared to the other exhausts on the market (aka kfos01's exhaust ) but is nice and full at around 4grand. "nice deep-tone, discreet sound" you got it!

the only complaint i would have with mine is that sometimes when I am idling for a while in the driveway or at a long stoplight, it kinda shakes and lightly rattles against the rear bumper, but other than that, it's great for the boost in all of us

They sell a product to fix that, Dave.

Prolly not worth the money for the GReddy. Plus that whole bumper burning issue. That is why we stopped selling it.
