ok so this just started to happen last night as I was driving my car... ok so I was driving last night and I was coming to a red light instead of downshifting like I normally do I was like the hell with it ill ride the clutch and as I did so the tach went from 4.5 to about maybe 2 or 3 hundred jumpped up 1 then back down and the car went off !?i so at first ok well maybe I did something wrong. so I kept driving and I kept driving and I rode the clutch again and it went off one more time. well any way I keep driving and by this point I'm like supper pissed cause I don't know what the hell is going on, so I come up to one more light and I don't ride the clutch this time cause I don't want my car to stall, but as I'm sitting at the light the car starts jumpping between 1-5 and then it shuts off.
I know this is probably not right but I'm thinkin it could be my alternator any other ideas what it you all think it could be befor I go and take it to mitsu and the charge me an arm and a leg cause the some how found out that this isn't covered under warranty... thanx for the help.
