You installed it wrong. You need to use the hanger from the driver side of the stock muffler. DId you do that?

Yep, it still sat about 3/4 of an inch too far to the left...

Finally installed mine. Great sound! Not loud at all and I just love it everytime I start my car now. The only problem I ran into when installing was the rubber hangers, I didn't know you needed to remove the chrome sleeves in order to make them fit over the RRM exhaust. Also, mine is not exactly centered, sits a bit to the left.

I had that problem too but took it to a friends shop that had a lift, he put it on the lift and unbolted it then while he pushed on the tip to get it centerd I bolted it back down, that sloved the problem.

That's a good question, RRM what do you cover under warranty? Paint coming off, rust, etc?

It is not really a warranty issue just an improvement to the product. Kinda like a MICORSOFT VISTA patch is. We are trying guys but we cannot do anything except continue to learn and improve everything we make.

I put this up not to rile people up but demsonstrate that we did this and the price of the piping is now $48 more than before. Thus the price did jump up a bit.

In other words, RRM products aren't warranted against cosmetic defects only actual performance defects?

How does the RRM model compare to the HKS Hi-Power axle back exhaust. Both are supposed to be fairly quiet... I really dont like the loud ricey sounding ones that are out there. So I have to decide between these two. Is one easier to install then the other or have a better tone? What about performance gains or is it just negligible?

Well here is my 2 cents, I'm a certified Tech so take it for what its worth.

The RRM axle back that I got for my 09 GTS fit well after the adjustments.
My observations.....
--The back hangar does nothing to hold the weight, all weight is put on front hangar.
--Mine had an awefull drone at approx 3000 rpm, if was that bad that I tried not to drive in that range.

PERHAPS an extra res would help IMHO and they should really get better at answering emails (sent three to Brian no reply).

Cheers
