Catback: Done

Whee, got a custom catback job done, $248. 2.25 inch piping and a hi flow Bullet Performance muffler. Bullet is a local company and I trust them with their stuff heh. Pics will come tonight when im not busy.

As for the sound, nice deep tone. I hoped not to get a lawn mower and I dont have one

Did you go with stainless steel? Mandrel bent? That sounds really cheap. I'm going to a local place today. They install Magnaflow mufflers, so it should sound good. What price range should I be looking for if I'm asking for stainless steel, mandrel bends and a magnaflow muffler? Should I install a resonator?

Custom cat-back exhausts are generally in the range of $200-$300. It's par for the course.

would it be better to buy the greddy evo exhaust or to mimic their dimensions and build a custom cat-back? just wondering. cuz i was unsure since the greddy catback has 2.5" piping where i was thinking 2.25 was the ideal diameter. which would yield the most gains? and either one i was def thinking of throwing in a hi-flo cat.

I beleive 2.25 is the best because it has enough diameter, yet keeps the backpressure. Can't wait to see your pics. I have mine custom done.

OK, here are the pics.

No, the tip isnt very big but I didnt want a gigantic tip on it. Just the right size for what I want.

Oh, can a mod move this to Show and Shine? I wanted to delete the post but it wouldnt let me so I thought it would die and I would repost it at S&S but I was wrong ~_~

To answer the ever-asked 2.25" vs 2.5" piping question...

No one with a 2.25" cat-back has stepped up and gotten it dynoed.
