rrm ported intake maifold

has anyone had anything wrong with the rrm ported intake maifold. as soon as my credit card payment hits im getting the manifold and the throttle body. other than a little tuning ill prolly have to do, is there anything else i should keep an eye on?

Welcome to evom, now learn to search. As long as you keep track of all the bolts and don't leave anything unattached (sensors, hoses, etc.) you should be fine.

Why did you start this thread then? If you read the instructions on how to install the manifold and all the threads talking about mishaps/problems why would you ask if there was anything you needed to know? It's like reading a recipe for a cake and then asking what you need to make a cake.

you never know, if u havent done it yet. and i thought with it being a forum therre might be something elseout there that someone els has encountered and didnt mention in that one.

That is why you read theads as opposed to just a thread. Being someone who has installed an intake mani I can say that the advice I gave in the first post is something to go by. Another tip would be to buy new gaskets while you have a chance.

THANK YOU! thats what i was looking for. i didnt know that. i know that sometimes you need to and other times you dont, but its usually recommended.
