swap help
hi everyone , i need your help please
i wanna swap an 4g18 1.6 engine instead of my 4g13 1.3,my car is 2005 lancer glx , the question is that my 4g13 is manual and all the avaliable 4g18 r automatic cvt`s so i read in my catalogue of the car that the 4g13 and 4g18 manual transmission have the same gear ratios so that`s mean that both use the same gearbox?? cause if that is right i will just remove my engine and swap the new one on the same tranny.can u please reply

not sure about your question but why don't you put in the 4g69 2.4 instead?? there is a guy in england that did and he who probably be able to help a great deal and possinly with your question now....his name is DIABLO....good luck
