nice, i would like to go with aftermarket cat, but i really dont want to mess with the warranty... i see some additional exhaust work like a muffler, what has been done exactly?

did it free up lower end torque?

I wonder what would be the response of a full exhuast on this car?

i dont know, i no longer have a muffler on my car and it helped incredibly... two real life things i noticed, not just feelings, first of all... coming off the line it is less likely to bog down even with the a/c running, and second when i down shift i give it some gas before engaging the lower gear for smoother shift, before the removal of the stock muffler i would have to tap the gas 2 maybe 3 times to get the rpms up there, and even then it wasnt exactly responsive... now i tap the gas in neutral the rpms respond immediately and downshifting is a lot easier.

all of this with just the removal off the (wanna look like a gas tank) stock muffler. high flow cat, header and some straighter pipe and who knows this car might surprise us all!

Wow. U guyz r lucky cause it sounds like the 4b11 engines responds better to bolt on mods than the 4g94.

Dyno results haven't really shown this to be true, but the car does seem to have potential.

After installing and removing the SRI a few times, I can definitely say for sure that there is a noticeable power difference with/without it. I don't have any of the other mods, so I can't say much about those...

The pulley makes the car seem weightless. When I first installed it, it felt like a new car. RPMs climb faster= response time increases.

To stay on topic- Post some vids or sound clips. Also would like to know part numbers

I went to custom exhaust shop this morning and had the car on a lift for the first time. WOW! Lets go down the list!

The rear tie bars are complete crap! They need to be replaced with ANYTHING! A twig would be better than stock.

There are two resonators / dampeners on the exhaust after the Cat. There are possible two cats on the car. One right off the block and another 3ft down the exhaust pipe. The on off the block has a bunch of heat shields around it so the mechanic and I weren't sure if it was a second cat or not. Anyone know about this?

The front lower truss isn't all that bad. Its certainly solid but might be on the heavy side.

There is little air available from under the car. There are several plates that act as wings to stabilize the air flowing under the car. Two are very obvious towards the rear where the back seats form.

The stock muffler is absolutely rrrrrridiculous. Its HUGE! Truly the size of a gas tank. It covers almost the entire back width of the car. That has to go!

The rear lower stabilizer bar looks more than adequate for the job. Its beefier than most of the other suspension components.

I think i would start with getting rid of the two resonators and replacing the stock muffler. That would certainly free up some power.

Please. any one that has pics or clips share them here. The entire exhaust system is visibly restrictive as hell and we need to let our lancers fly free!
