throttle botty

throttle botty

ive been reading these threads and they are very useful. i was jsut wondering if anyone knows if its worth it to get that throttle body from rrm. i need some upgrades for my lancer but dunno whats worth buying. if anyone can help, please reply.

I definately recommend it. I've got it and saw a pretty good power increase, but that was with intake and exhaust.

I'm not totally sure, but there may be a review in the review section. It seems like a very decent mod though if you ask me...when coupled with an intake mostly.

Gotta get all the intake and exhaust parts or it's pretty useless...intake; a headers back system, and a hks afr or apex'i s-afc with a a/f guage to tune everything.

yeah i was thinking about getting the rrm exhaust, injen intake, and the throttle botty. will there be a noticible gain?

i personally wouldnt put the throttle body as a priority on my list of mods, theres quite a bit you can spend money on before that, like good strut bar, anti sways, shocks/springs, and exhaust/intake as mentioned in the prior posts. my philisophy is you should set up a good base (suspension and chassis stiffness-wise) to fully enjoy performance add-ons. this is just my opinion on the order of which i get stuff...
