Motor mounts
I had them on my 2002 Lancer. I really thought they were a good product.
Front mount is a good addition to any car. Front AND rear is probably overkill unless you're going hardcore. After I installed both, I was getting a good amount of noise/vibration/harshness. When the A/C was on, passengers thought my car was going to die.
FWIW, this was back in the days when you had a choice between "soft or firm" - and I of course went with firm. RRM currently only offers one stiffness level. I don't know how it compares to the old soft/firm options.

I only want the front but they only sell them in sets
.
I had the front mount on my 4gen eclipse and it wasn't that bad really barely noticed it. But i wonder how it is on our lancers???

If the CY4A is anything like the CS6A was, front-only should be fine. Again, I was really happy when I just had the front.
It's a shame RRM isn't splitting them up, but they didn't do it for the CS6A either. So it makes sense. I just happened to buy mine directly from the company that RRM sourced them from. But RRM seems to be doing the 2008 mounts in-house.
EDIT - FWIW, I just fired off an email to the company to ask if they might do 2008 Lancers. I'll let you know.

awesome Black,
And dukeds, It doesn't increase performace. It helps keep the engine from moving while under load which can cause wheel hope so basicly it helps eliminate the dreadfull wheel hop.
And a motor mount is basicly what it is "motor mount", the motor is attached to these rubber mounts for flexibility and to get rid of vibrations from the cabin which is y i asked if we replace just the front one if we would get some vibrations.

Well, if someone a) buys a spare motor mount or b) removes their stocker for a few days, I found a place that will fill them for $25 each. Same company that did the 2002 Lancer stuff. Nice guys, high quality stuff.
I might pop into the dealership one day and see about the price of a stock front. Worst case, we could get a "core program" going. Get a mount filled, install it, then send the stock mount to the next person for filling.
(They're not a vendor here, so I'm not going to name-drop on the forum).
