Spark plugs?

Has anyone tried anything with the spark plugs or wires? I'd like to upgrade to NGK performance plugs and 10 gauge wires, but these spark plugs look like they cant come out with just a ratchet going lefty-loosy! Has anyone experimented yet?

Umm, no wires needed, they are direct coil packs ontop of the plugs. Unbolt the coil and then pull off and voila, there's the plug. Just be careful installing new plugs as it is an aluminum head. Oil the threads on the plugs and install to no more than 20 ft/lbs. Also make sure gap is .028"-.032".
