2008 Lancer 0-60 times
im gonna bring some new life to this thread
i have the 08 gts 2.0 my mods are rrm timing module, rrm sri,rrm crank pulley and custom ab exhaust , the times from my runs were with those 4 mods and i had 20 psi in my front tires and 5 spd manual on stock rims and stock rubber launching at 2000 rpms , night time runs , temps were around 18-20 degrees
my 0-60 was 6.8 and my 1/4 mile was 16.3
im finding alot of increase in the 0-60 times with the na mods , but not so much in the 1/4
edmunds has their stock tested at 9.1 0-60 and 16.8 1/4 mile with cvt

The 2.0L lancer is very slow.
Edmunds yes 9.1 secs with cvt 8.8 secs 0-60 with manual.
But hey, achieving magazine numbers is quite difficult. Those are the best of the best numbers u can get usually.
Car and driver gets faster numbers.
If I were in the USA, I would of trade the 08 for an 09 gts. Nice engine improvement.
Even thou, for the money I paid for a GT where I live, in the USA I wouldn´t be driving a lancer at all haha.

cvt are a lot slower, if you bought an automatic why would you even bother with acceleration times, its ridiculous... automatics are for going to the supermarket with the kids not clocking its acceleration
The 2.0-liter GTS five-speed we tested ran 0-to-60 in 7.7 seconds
