Well, finally after a long time of being in debt I think I found a spot where I can buy a thing or two for my car. I am not trying to sound dumb or anything like that but just curious and need feedback on what I should do. I have a couple ideas on what to do, my car has pretty much nothing done to it yet (yellow oz). I got an intake and a stereo that needs to be fixed. Blew a sub..
But my friend is gonna help hook me up with some nice stuff for cheap plus I will be getting a custom box built for my trunk instead of the fat black one that looks unsatisified. I am curious on the rmr and the rrm exaust but I heard the rmr melts paint so eck. My friend has a SE-R Spec-v and my other friend who got an RSX both got there exaust done at Magic Muffler. The guy with the Spec-v got his for about 350 with custom piping full cat. He says that I could go with that. Where I can get a full cat and muffler for about that or a little less. Or I can choose to go with rmr or rrm, any thoughts on that or shall I wait...? I also am interested in getting the RRM short shifter because so far I only heard good stuff about that. I really want to buy new rims. But of course we all know how much wheels and tires cost so I would need to have to finda place to finance and that has been to umm... succesful. I like the Blatant Carbon, F1 OZ, and Superleggeras. I can spend probably around 400 dollars on stuff right now give or take whatever if I really want to get it. I am interested in the eibach springs from rrm but am not sure about it. I also need to tint my windows and i might get that for free, i just have to pay for the tint fabric... Well enough of this long *** message. I am just curious and I need ideas on what I can do next, because I need to work on performance and stop messing with cosmetics. I need votes on what I could get this weekend. Before I spend my money on some other random things. Thanks..
I'm voting for the custom cat-back. Just my two cents. For the record though, I would say wheels if you had the money. I really couldn't stand the grip, or lack thereof, on the stock tires.
mitsu: i know this is off the subject but i need some help i ordered the weapon r intake for my lancer ES but things went wrong and all i have is the piping and the sleeves i want to just buy a filter for it then put it on but i have the air flow mass controll so i dont know if i can just take it off or what please help
Check out this link for wheels. http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp They're a bit cheaper on this site, but still kinda pricey if you have a budget.
yeah i think if ur working on a tight budget, wheels shouldnt be the first thing ur looking at, they cost a bundle, and hey, the stock OZ wheels are quite nice yeah? you could invest in some nice tires, and just some simple bolt-ons... bang for the buck yeah?
