Dynolicious

it has the worst name ever but this is one of the coolest new apps for the iphone and touch. It's thirteen dollars and it uses the ipod's accelleromter and uses cool equations and such with the weight to figure horsepower and 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile and your 0-whatever speed you go. it has some bugs but was pretty accurate when we used it on my friends spec v. has anyone else had the chance to play with it yet?

thats the website

You should fix your link .....

Havent used it but I'll wait for input to see how it's different from most of the guesstimator calculators out there.

It's supposed to be a lot more accurate than the gtech though... I know there's a video on streetfire where a couple of guys tested it and compared it to the dyno and actual 1/4 times/speeds...

Good review... I tried it out, I think it's pretty accurate. Unfortunately my 0-60 and 1/4 mi time sucked when I did it because the ground was wet, but the HP # it gave me was pretty much right on. I did this in my old 1G Talon TSi, and the tuner has put a car with the exact same tune as mine on the dyno and it makes right around the 400 WHP mark. The Dynolicious software gave me 412, which is damn close, and since I did this in about 40-45 degree weather, that probably gave it a little advantage from when he dynoed ~400 whp in the summer months.

It's awesome, it even tells your mph when you hit the 60' and 330' marks in the quarter.

I bought this app a few weeks ago and i had used it a few times and got around the same results everytime..

I have a 2002 Lancer Oz, with CAI, RRM Header, Greddy Ti-C exhaust, and RRM piggyback V.2

5 times i used this app, and i got between 84-89 hp.... I drive a manual and i am like redlining it before i shift... and i was wondering why my numbers were so crappy... i plugged up my piggyback and it was not even working! i put the base rrm map back on it and now i am coming out at 122-130 hp with the app!

Its a great little tool! Very Fun and inexpensive!
