NA reflash lancer??

I just got the RRM ecu, and wow hat a difference!!!. The car actual wants to rev now . My question is, does anyone else with the ecu, find that you no longer have to shift to hit 60 mph??. I've hit 110 kph in secong gear and was wondering if anyone else had had the same results?. With out a doubt the single best upgrade for U.S. Lancer..... N.A. of course.

OT, but here's a point of reference:

In my auto Lancer I can floor it from a stop and get to 100 mph before the car shifts to 3rd w/o the reflash.

Edit:
Please ignore the blatantly crack-induced post I made above. I just went out and I can hit 100 mph before the car shifts to 4th, not 3rd. Oh, what a slight error that was.

My car does hit 62-63 before it shifts up to 3rd.

GR,

100 mph in second gear for auto? You'll run out of rpms. The first guy stated in kph.

With my mods on the G93, my best topping 2nd gear at 6400 rpm was 77 mph. My average was 74-75 mph at 6300 rpm.

When I had bad fuel management in the early stages of my mods, I had 3rd gear up to 118 mph, but 4th had no power whatsoever like hitting a rev limiter. Then, I ran out of real estate.

I guess 10-15 km/h is a good gain on 2nd gear. Mine gets me around 95 when I push it to the limit

Kinda OT but Your from Ste-Catharine or Ste-Catherine(Montreal South-shore)?

That is correct, you don't need to shift into third to reach 60 mph with the reflash. Reason being, the reflash raises the rev limiter from 6200 to 6900, so you won't run out of gear in 2nd. I plan on getting a passenger to time a 0-60 in order to see how much better it is when you don't have to shift into second.

No release date for the auto reflash yet, but I can tell you Rob recieved 2 cores last week and that is his only major project at the moment. Shortly after that, he will start working on the auto turbo reflash.

No lie. This is on my most current setup (intake,header/downpipe,axleback). Other small mods are plugs and wires, 205/40 series tires. Regular unleaded gas. I do have an e-manage installed, but this is with all my points set to 0 and the ignition harness isn't even installed yet.

If I get a chance, I'll try to run some video of a run. Just gotta find someone to ride shotgun and run the footage.

Edit:
And this is the speed I hit before I hit the rev limiter at 5900 rpms. And for even further clarification, this is in D, not sequentially shifting from 1-D. Umm... What else... I've more often gotten to 95 and then shifted into 4th because of head winds.

Re-edit:
Again, 100 mph before shifting into 4th. Gawd I'm a moron.

Are you sure about the 6.9K redline limit? That's beyond what the G93 can do. Our fuel cut is 6750, and the sounds that it makes around 6600-6700 rpm isn't all that great. A G92 SOHC in the pacific rim tags around 7200 rpm redline from its shorter stroke.

http://www.teammatrix.com.my/news/up...ll052002_1.htm

In a G94 application, I believe it can hit 6500, but at 6900 the laws of physics from such longer stroke will start to become a reality. The only motor that breaks this model is the H22. I have yet found a logical reason for it.

The H22 (7.2K redline, if correct) has a longer stroke that a Porsche 968, and it can only manage a redline around 6600 or 6700 rpm . . . currently that German motor is the biggest displacement for a 4 banger production car as a 3.0L . . .

GR,
Oh, your tires may have some effect on your spd. I don't know enough on tire ratio to figure it out 'how much effect".

From Whalen Tire the 205/40 is as close to the same diameter as stock that you can get. Nevermind that, however, since I've already edited my posts to reflect my major mistake.

And remember kids, don't always believe what you read on the internet. Like your English professors tell you, it might not be a credible source.

====================================

See, the laws of physics prevails again. No car can break it, except the H22. I haven't yet to figure out its secrets on why. I think I kneew to lurk over there some day for such insight.
